Please try to be on time Sunday morning for Package pickup. Late arrivals may have difficulty getting their shirt and bib number in time for the race. Shirt sizing cannot be guaranteed when registering on Friday, Saturday or Sunday. T shirts will be available in some sizes if not paid for on online entry
You may register at the registration desk in SW corner of Swangard Stadium. We are expecting a substantial number of race day registrations, so be sure to arrive from 8am to 9:30am. Late registration fee is $40 on day of race.
Your Bib Number is Valuable:
Your bib number also comes with an integrated timing chip. Please wear your bib on your chest – not on your back.
There will be a gear check table near the Registration Desk and number attached to your bib for identification of your gear
The Walk/Run will start sharply at 10:00am. Kids 400m event will start at 9:40am.
There will be a defined space at the Start Line for faster or serious runners of all age groups. We ask that runners self-seed themselves with walkers allowing runners to start first. Remember this chip timing so all times will be accurate on passing start and finish mat sensors
FIRST AID ATTENDANTS/MEDICAL TEAM
All volunteers on course through Central Park trails will be connected via cell phone to: First Aid Attendants and Medical at Swangard. Please feel free to tell them if you are having any problems. They can immediately contact First Aid for you. Call 911 in any emergency.
The primary medical station is at Swangard Stadium SW corner
The course is through the urban rainforest of Central Park. The course is flat and fast on compressed gravel. Signs in park will identify: The “Terry Fox Route” with arrows. Note: the course is shared with the public.
Water stations will be available at Swangard Stadium and at one point on the course.
Washrooms are available in Swangard Stadium on the main concourse on the West side of the stadium.
